ultrasound today!

All went well at the ultrasound today. The tech said our due date is Jan. 4th instead of the 7th. This is good news to Keir who really wants a tax-break baby. However, from family experience, the baby will wait until it's about a week past the due date to make an appearance.

It was a so great to hear that the baby is healthy and there shouldn't be any surprises. We saw the 4 chambers of the heart, two kidneys, all the limbs, and other important parts... except for the important part we didn't want to see. We could even see four fingers and a thumb on each hand! The baby is a mover and a shaker as the tech had a hard time keeping up with him/her. I did just come from practice, so it wasn't a Red Bull that was the cause of it (like the nurse suggested). It's no wonder I feel the baby so much.

We have plenty of pictures to share, but we'll pick the best ones and scan them in to post them when we can.

Hi Tricia, Keir & Baby Asher,

It does not surprise me that Baby Asher is a mover and shaker! Keir was just that when I was pregnant with him. Very active baby is a good thing! Future hockey player or VB player? Your news of a healthy baby is outstanding. You're 1/2 way there.
